The St. Thomas More Society of the Triangle is a Roman Catholic professional society for attorneys in the Raleigh-Durham area. Its members, grateful to God for the opportunity to practice law in a free country and recognizing the universal call to holiness, strive to be lawyers, scholars, and saints in the tradition of Saint Thomas More.

 

The society strives to encourage its members to live a Christian life and apply the principles and ideals exemplified by St. Thomas More in their lives and encourage the same in the legal profession, to assist in the spiritual growth of its members and to support the charitable and other good works of the Church in the Diocese of Raleigh.

 

Members strive to live in their daily lives the Christian courage embodied in the dying words attributed to St. Thomas More: “I die the King’s good servant, but God’s first.”
